Film legend Jane Russell signs her own photo on our Blvd. She starred in dozens of classic movies with all the greats, Bob Hope, Groucho Marx, Robert Mitchum and many more. Her two most famous movies, with Marilyn Monroe in "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" (where she and Monroe jointly put there hand and foot prints in cement at Grauman's Chinese Theatre), and her first film,"The Outlaw" a groundbreaking (and rule breaking) film produced and directed by Howard Hughes. The controversies of "The Outlaw" were prominently portrayed in the recent Hughes biopic "The Aviator".
Peter Falk
Paul Reiser wrote and produced the film especially with Peter Falk in mind, because Falk was the only actor who made Reiser's own father laugh. Falk actually played a character based on Paul's own father in the film!

Our friend and Michael's, Mr. David Carradine also stops by as part of our Tarantino Festival. He is "Bill" and he was killed, but he was alive and bringing down the house here in Chicagoland. Of course he was star of the long running television series "Kung Fu" and is the son of the classic stage and screen actor John Carradine.

Academy Award Winner Shirley Jones talks to our audience about her starring roles in the classic musicals, "Oklahoma!" and "The Music Man". Perhaps best known to the world as Mrs. Partridge from the hit seventies television show, she was recently nominated for an Emmy. One of our most gracious and stylish guests, she charmed the crowds.

Karen Allen joins us for our 30th Anniversary "Animal House" Reunion, although fans might remember Karen more for her second role opposite Harrison Ford in "Raiders of the Lost Ark", a role Karen is excited to reprise in "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull." Karen followed a life long dream of fashion design and founded karenallen-fiberarts.com that manufactures high end knitwear that's sold all over the country. Peter Riegert, who played her boyfriend "Boon" in the film joins her. You'll remember him shouting out "Otis Loves Us" and Karen said of him, "I think I'm in love with a retard". Seen more recently in many roles on "The Soprano's", "Law & Order"and opposite Glen Close on "Damages" and in other movies from "The Mask" to "Traffic"; even an Oscar nomination for Best Director for a Short Film adaptation of the O'Henry classic that he also wrote!

Old enemies reunite as friends at our "Animal House" reunion! It's Mark "Neidermeyer" Metcalf and Stephen "Flounder" Furst! Stephen is producing and directing movies in Hollywood including New Line's "My Sister's Keeper" starring Cameron Diaz and Alex Baldwin. Mark still acts and had a recurring role on TV's "Seinfeld as 'The Maestro' and also owns a great restaurant outside Milwaukee called" Libby Montana's" "Is that a pledge pin on your uniform?" She greeted the crowd, introduced the films, and signed autographs all weekend long in our lobby. Our most gracious guest ever, look for her to return next year! Veronica Cartwright, child star of Hitchcock's "The Birds" (and sister of Angela Cartwright) has been seen in dozens of film & television roles. Her character on "Leave It To Beaver" gave Beaver Cleaver his first on screen kiss, she was a late night gourmet snack in the original "Alien" and hilariously vomited cherries in "The Witches of Eastwick". She has more recently been seen in lots of episodic television including "Nine" and "Law & Order".

Hitchcock author Jeff Kraft holds his book "Footsteps in the Fog" which retraces all the scenes from such classics as "Vertigo", "Shadow of a Doubt", and "The Birds" as they now appear in and around San Francisco. Introducing films as part of our annual Hitchcock celebration with slides of Bodega Bay as it was and how it is now, complete with seagulls.

Alfred's daughter, Pat Hitchcock and his granddaughter Terre stand next to a portrait of the famous Director originally taken for the cover of Life Magazine upon the release of "The Birds". Pat actually had parts in many of her father's films including "Psycho" and told great stories about growing up in a household frequented by such guests as Cary Grant, Ingrid Bergmann and Princess Grace Kelly.

Famed British character actor Jeremy Bulloch was in four of the six episodes; not only portraying the adult Boba Fett, but also the Commander who hides Carrie Fisher from Darth Vader in the opening sequences of the very first Star Wars movie, and in the last installment he Commands yet another spaceship as Captain Colton. Jeremy even took a moment from his schedule here to bring Chicago a complete sports report in full Boba Fett costume on the WGN Morning News.

Screen great and iconic entertainer Debbie Reynolds, one of the truly classic lady's of Hollywood, greets incoming fans to our screenings of her movies "The Unsinkable Molly Brown" and her very first film, "Singing in the Rain". A remarkable woman with a remarkable career, she entertained fans before we rolled film with stories of her life and career, even demonstrating dance steps and leading the sold out crowds with renditions of some of her famous songs, including "Singing in the Rain", "Tammy" and my favorite from the film epic "How the West was Won", "At Home in the Meadow".
